This user guide is designed to make navigating this website as easy as possible for both beginners and experienced, in the world of microcontrollers.
The sitemap is designed to make navigation for visitors, who are looking for a specific topic, as easy as possible.
The Arduino tutorials are designed to introduce fundamental building blocks of embedded design. For visitors who are new to microcontrollers, it is recommended to start off with the Audruino Introduction tutorial and complete as many Arduino tutorials as possible. The Arduino LED Blink tutorial is the most popular first-time tutorial for beginners. This is also known as “Hello World”. Figure 1 represents an example of an image magnification tool being used on an Arduino Fritzing schematic, which is activated by simply hovering the mouse over the schematic. This tool is used to allow schematics to fit onto a page and at the same time give the user the convenience of zooming in. All Arduino Fritzing schematics have this associated tool.

The PIC tutorials demonstrate the application of complex embedded design to real world scenarios. For visitors who have experience with microcontrollers and would like a challenge, select a project that best suits your interest. Similar to the Arduino Fritzing schematics, the PIC Altium schematics also have an associated magnification tool for convenience, as demonstrated in Figure 2.

The Electrical Engineering Portal is designed to expose the visitor to various topics that form the foundation for embedded design. These topics typically include a practical exercise at the end, to complement the theory. For each main area/sub-areas, it is advisable to go through the introduction. Links are provided throughout the website to guide the user along an effective learning path.
